About

Kari Holes

I was born on April 18th 1988 in Oil City, Pennsylvania. I graduated from Titusville High School in 2006; That fall, I attended Edinboro University to major in Photography, and minor in Creative Writing. At the beginning of 2008 I dropped out of that particular school due to financial difficulties.

I continued to pursue my photography career in Chicago, Illinois, soon thereafter returning to Edinboro for a family emergency. I continued my passions while working at a local diner and aiding as a personal care attendant for a friend. I left Edinboro in the summer of 2008 to travel the states and further my career as a photographer - selling my photos for gas money.

I followed the 2008 presidential national conventions to dip into photo-journalism, and after the 2008 final debates in NYC I settled into Erie, PA as a lifeguard. In pursuit of a career in photography I got a job in a newly opened portrait studio. I transferred my experience there to a studio in New York City where I work now.
